Where the affiliate links are

Product recommendations. When Kurli suggests the products to style or maintain a look, on the Shoppage and alongside a try-on, the "Buy" links go to retailers through their affiliate programs.
Book a stylist.The "Book this look with a stylist" links may go to a booking partner through an affiliate link, so Kurli can earn a referral fee when you book.

Amazon Associates

Kurli is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, Kurli earns from qualifying purchases.

This does not change the hairstyles we recommend

The hairstyles Kurli suggests are chosen for how well they suit your face and hair, never because a link pays a commission. No brand can pay to change which haircut you are shown. That part of Kurli is not for sale.

Paid product placement

Kurli sells a featured product spot to haircare brands for a hair-type category, such as curly or coily, which decides which product is shown first in that category. When a slot has been sold, it carries a visible "Paid placement" label on the page. Paid placement never changes the hairstyle advice, and a paid product is still expected to be a reasonable choice for the hair type it is shown to. Brands can read the full terms on the brand partnerships page.

Kurli also publishes reviews of products that brands send us. Those reviews say what actually happened when the product was used, including anything that did not work, and the brand does not get to approve the wording. Any review of a product we were sent says so at the top.

Prices, availability, and product details are set by the retailer, not by Kurli, and can change at any time. Always check the current price, reviews, and ingredients on the retailer's own page before you buy, and use your own judgment, especially if you have a sensitive scalp or allergies.
